Meadow Lake is one of the best fishing camps I've ever been to. The food is phenomenal, the fishing is excellent, and the hosts treat you like family. Francesco and Uli are two of the nicest people you'll meet, and Uli's cooking is more than anyone could have expected - I'd go back for her apple fritters alone. There are smaller lakes with proportionately smaller fish that are near guaranteed bites, and then more challenging lakes for experienced anglers who want a chance at catching the big one, all within walking distance. If you love fishing, this is the place to go.

I use to come here when I was a kid with my father and grandfather. It was different ownership then, but we had a lot of fun. About 20+ years passed before I returned which was in 2013. Uli and Francesco are amazing hosts. They take care of you like family. The food is excellent, the cabins are rustic and the fishing is lots of fun. We plan on coming every year from now on!
