Camp Artaban is the most beautiful place on the West Coast (actually, the world)! The absolute best for stargazing at night because there’s no light pollution in the slightly remote location. Gorgeous views in every spot on site, especially with glimpses of the water and beautiful sunsets. Heaven on Earth!

Camp Artaban… My family and i went there for a family vacation this weekend and it was fun!! There was lots of activities to keep the kiddos busy… Rock climbing, archery, paddling, kyacking, hiking, a large gym with many different sports and more. The cabins were very simple but clean… be aware of many different bugs and spiders… On site and in the cabins there is absolutely NO electricity after 10:30pm so make sure you bring your flashlights or lanterns so you can see around at night and make your way to the outhouse of you need to use the bathroom. The water was warm and refreshing and the staff was so kind… I especially loved Nancy and her super cute and friendly dog Jasper!!! We will definitely be back again next year staying longer because the weekend stay was certainly not long enough to get everything done we wanted to do. Thank you Nancy for having our gamy there!!
