Canada’s outdoors at its finest. Beautiful scenery of mountains, lake, forest and rivers. Easy 40 minute walk to the lower falls with breath-taking views along the way. Water volumes of the waterfall varies quite a bit from early summer to late summer. Parking can be challenging for the lower falls hike in summer. No entrance / parking fee is a bonus.

Fantastic place to go spend the day at the lake or for camping over a long weekend. The lake is pristine! Lots of space and lush, beautiful scenery await your discovery there. The campgrounds are excellent; clean, well kept and family oriented campgrounds with plenty of space for each campers’ spot, so you don’t feel packed in like sardines. Highly recommend.

It is a great, and beautiful place for camping! Nice trails to hike and explore around the campground - my only complaint is that it is all mostly reserved campsites - you walk/drive around the campground and at least 90% of it is all reserve.. and a majority of those campsites are empty.. Other than that it is a great place for camping (if you are able to get a spot)

Another national treasure. Easy access by driving through the mountains and forests of BC. This place gets more popular every time I come here. Pick up your garbage people! Some horse trails here. Leave the bikes at home. Outhouses are placed at strategic locations. Good variety of hikes with various difficulty levels. Bring some swimming gear for hot days but take care near the water falls.

Great campsites, terrible 1st come 1st serve policy. Sadly, it would appear Vancouver's housing problem has migrated to camping. We drove up on a Thursday afternoon to get a spot for the weekend only to be told that all 1st come 1st serve spots had already been taken (all 50 of them) by people who came up earlier in the week, payed for the week and weekend to ensure they get a spot, even though they're not there when we arrived. Meaning plenty of empty sites that cant be used since they're technically paid for. Upset to see the parks board accepting extra pay from the wealthy who can afford to pay for an entire week over those that actually show up 1st for the weekend. BE FOREWARNED, they're also cash only. We were told they're planning to go entirely to reservations, which would be for the best.
