This is an amazing place to relax. My daughter attended this camp for 2 years now and every year when she came back she would tell me every little exciting detail of her week long trip. She told me her favorite part was the deer wandering around, wild deer that you would have to risk to feed from hand. She still did it though. Many activities, food made well with love and care, night time chapel filled with more games and fun, bow and arrow station, making new friends every day! Overall I wouldn't put 5 stars because it's not enough to evaluate Anvil, it's far beyond 5 or even 100...This place is way to good to describe..

Beautiful island and camp is designed to enhance the experience of getting away from the mainland. Power is generator supplied and is out in the evenings. Multiple activities, hikes, games all lend to an excellent camp experience for all ages. The Chapel building and outdoor Chapel point to the reason for the camps existence, to make Jesus known.

Had an amazing experience at camp 8 on Anvil Island. The best summer camp experience I've ever had. The scenery was breathtaking, the staff were amazing, and the experience was life changing.
