Close to the lake, a bike would be preferred. Cute sites, little ducks and hens/rosters running around. Nicely treed and buses between sites. Various options, ours only had a picnic table, no fire pit. Nice washroom facilities with showers and electrical outlets. I believe you can buy firewood here. Late at night they close the gate so if you’re coming back after 11 maybe let them know or get them to show you how to open it.

We arrived late at night...dark. Ha ha....it was interesting pulling in as it is tight. Only have a 19 ft trailer but still was interesting. We made it in perfect enough. The lady at the desk is a gem - very polite. At first, I had second thoughts because of its tightness but I realized I enjoyed being here because of the trees - lots of trees and shade. I watched a 30+ft fifth wheel come in....so if you know how to drive, you will figure it out. Just don't do it in the dark - ha ha. Would I come again - sure would. Depends if my wife wants to wade in a swimming pool in the sun or not (cause there isnt one here)...but yeah. I'd come back! I can see some complaining by people but when on a get-away trip, why stress out? Enjoy what you can and make the best of your time. It's the experience after all and you decide whether to let things bother you or just enjoy it all.

Accomdated a last minute stay. We got a pull through site and the lady who booked us in was very nice and helpful. A little walk to the amenities but it is a good place to lie your head! Quiet, clean and safe.

We left a day early as we could not handle another night there. When we first got in, the lady was very friendly at the office, but the office stunk like a litter box!!!! First morning we were there we woke up to a excavator working away on a construction site ten feet away from us. Couldn't believe the mosquitos, we got eaten alive! All we wanted was to get away and relax but didnt have an ounce of sleep due to the loudness of people around us and crying babies. Campsites are very small and compact. We thought it was very overly priced for what you get. Overall, we would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

Friendly staff. Can tell it was a great place then years ago. Now houses being built all around it. $45 a night and no campfires was lame. Bathrooms are clean
