Showed up had 1 week booked and was kicked out two days early because my dogs where bothering people. Payed deposit and payed for the dogs. and did not refund last days. Also 10km/h speed limit posted with immediate eviction with no refund for speeding. Shadiest camp hosts I’ve ever seen. RIP OFF. Cultus lake was better

Sweltzer Creek Campsite is located about 15 minutes north of Cultus Lake. It is beside a very clean creek that feeds the Vedder. The campsite itself is well maintained and has big lots. There are clean bathrooms and another set is being built this 2018 to improve the experience. A few lots have electrical line but most don't but all lots have a metal firepit and a picnic table. Each lot can hold 2 families of 4. There are evergreens a plenty so each lot has very adequate shade with ample room for decent direct sunlight. If you have a freshwater fishing license, you can take a 15 minute hike to the Vedder from the campground. Reservations have a waitlist so call well in advance. Office personnel are nice and friendly.

Absolutely disgusting. will never go here again, wish I could rate 0 stars. we booked here for a week in summer 2017. day 1: go to washroom with the kids, and it is overflowing with pee all over the floor, ankle deep. Not cleaned till 2.5 days later. and all they did was plunge the drain, girls showers broken, so had to use men's. and they were filthy. bathrooms had pee overflowing in toilets at least every day. Staff is ridiculous, check in they were more concerned about their nail filing. Every time I went to the store someone was either filing there nails, or telling a story to their buddy, or no one was even there. We left 2 days early. Garbage constantly all around the site. not sure what they were cleaning everyday because it was over flowing all the time. But the bathrooms were just horrendous. So gross. This year I made sure to book in advance to a much better site at cultus lake.

Free showers, beautiful creekside lots with electricity, very friendly type of families who stay, close to activities, dog friendly, clean...all around one of the nicer campgrounds.

Great place for camping, great for tent or trailer campers alike. Has a restroom for male and female, but only one though. Big campsites, some are beside a nice refreshing creek. Has a small playground for young kids, and a volleyball court. There are also group sites available for large groups. Cheaper than most campgrounds. Bonus: after a short walk you can get to the side of a river where you can take a dip or soak during a blistering summer day.
