Woodhaven campground is a peaceful and quiet campsite not far from so many beautiful lakes in the Shuswap area. We enjoyed our stay and we wished it was longer! We were in site 19, behind the field and it was the perfect spot. Each tenting spot was private and spacious. The sites are just across from a clean bathroom with warm showers and electrical plug-ins. This campsite was a bit more rugged than your standard provincial park, which turned out to be a good thing! This way we got to see and hear more nature and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Best of all was Arnie, the host; he was so accommodating and friendly!

We have Have camped there on 4 different Occasions/Yrs. In a 32' 5th Wheel and a 26' 5th Wheel. Arnie the Host is simply a great guy and will do his best to accomodate your needs. Firewwood is available (unless there's a Fire Ban), Laundry facilitis, Ice ... No wifi really...and who NEEDS it when your on VACATION.?? (if so, just go back down the gravel Road to where it joins with pavement.) Then you'll have data. Sites for trailers are good size equal to what you might find in a provincial site...and most are serviced. A whole other section is reserved for Those that primarlily Tent. But note, many of the sites are on a hilly sction of this property...make sure ya bring some extra leveling blocks. White Lake is simply fabulous - Crystal Clear water and warm but suggest water shoes as the beach itself is a bit pebbly...a nice sized grassy area to sit and suntan. - Big raft in the water. Close to Blind Bay - Salmon Arm and Scotch Creek. My fav place in all of the Shushwap with likely the best pricing going. Your kids Will simply LOVE it.!! C Ya there..!!

Great spot. Was sad that they changed to mostly long term site rentals. Was a nice option to escape the much busier Shuswap. Only negative is that the beach access is a bit inconvenient and can be a bit crowded.
