We have been coming to this incredible park every year since Park opened in the 70'S. Pat and his staff make this a first rate spectacular park. This is one park that nature never allows to stay the same. Winds, rain, sun, floods and fires change the shoreline and the creek constantly. We regularly occupy a site twice a year since openning and love to explore the new things mother nature has handed out since the last visit. This spring she decided to completely rearrange the mouth of the creek. There will be a few new beach islands there this summer. Can't wait! New campsites now with hookups late spring 2018. Added bonus is several have nice lake views! Its an amazing place. We are looking forward to going back in the fall of 2018.

Great little camping spot or place for locals to go for a swim or launch a canoe or walk the dog. Well spaced campsites, some with lakefront. Beautiful hiking right across Westside Road up the Bear Creek Trail…waterfall and 750 Million Year geology.

Great view. You get to see everything, from the higheat peaks to down by the creek. Just try not to lose your footing while jumping from rock to rock. The water quickly gains speed. Oh, and bring water. You WILL get thirsty. The long trail takes about 45minutes to an hour to complete, so try to manage your time.

The beach and the park itself is very nice. The campsite is not a place I would stay again. The bathrooms need a serious upgrade. Push button showers that don’t drain. Arctic cold water in the sinks so washing your face is almost unbareable. If you’re renting they will put you in with the RVs so it’s a pretty noisy stay. If you were in an RV I would be a great place to stay.

Right on Okanogan lake but campsites could be more private with a little more foliage and the bathroom right by the entrance was horrible! Always smelt like urine and had urine and water all over the floor our entire stay. Liked that it was so close to Kelowna.
