I have passed by this campground for 40 years and finally we decided to stay. It was much nicer than reviews give it credit for. We camped in the non serviced areas which were spacious clean and tucked nicely in between trees. Great tenting sites. The pool was pretty standard but has a wonderful view of surrounding mountains. The campground does have the highway and cap rail nearby, but so do 150 other campgrounds in BC so not much surprise there. We had a nice sunny camp. The lush vegetation suggest that this area is subject to a lot of rain. Be prepared. There are at least two large picnic shelters for those occasions. We saw a bear this morning at the neighbor's campsite, which was vacant at the time so be aware u are in bear country. Overall a very nice visit. I took many photos of the campsites and their number so u get a good idea of what they look like. Enjoy your stay.

It could be great depending on what you think great is? Smack between a highway and a railway (trains are hill climbing!) My kids were awake all night! Spring is fed into a typical and dated pool with a “healthy” amount of chlorine added. I do prefer the Nakusp setting. Please ignore the racial reviews on here, the management have a way that may or may not be cultural. Our campground our rules! Being very remote and with peoples love to sue! I get they want to keep a handle on it!

Last Year. 2018 while on my regular summer road trip on a rainy Tuesday. After driving all day from Medicine Hat I pulled in late in the dark and rain coming down. I asked for availability of camping for a tent for one night and she said yes. I then asked if I could go a see it or pick my own sight with one of their maps. She refused. I ask that of every campground and have never been refused the request. She said no and I could not believe it. I left mad, wet, and informed her that I would let all of Winnipeg know and she said OK By By now. If I remember correctly I slept in the car (G5) at the pull out at Revelstoke. I sort of forgot the location of the resort from last years vacation and actually made the error of pulling into it again just last Wednesday on this years holiday. Once I realized that it was the same campground I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt and try again. Again met first with warm friendliness and then refusal when request of previewing the tenting sights to pick one out. She said no and that she would pick it for me. Then she asked what do you like? Like it was a plate order off a restaurant menu. What would I like ...how about some customer respect. What I would like now is for other tired and worn-out travelers to know what kind of Toxicity of an Attitude that they may encounter if they should choose to try this business. I imagine that it could be a good and decent place to stay but it certainly needs a new company culture. Until then I would advise all to avoid it like radiation.

Not so good. Trains all night long just behind the resort. Weird conditions-you have to pay for showers and old pool. Quite expansive. Nice washrooms.

Chinese lady at the front desk was very disrespectful. Told us to decide immediately whether we want to stay or leave. Then came to our car on a parking lot and started knocking on our car window insisting we must leave now. Then followed us on her golf cart to the camp exit. Ridiculous behavior. We should have read the reviews before we decided to stop there, it looks like many others have similar experience. Rather skip this place
