Loved the location and the set up. We stayed in a cabin with a hot tub and had an amazing time. The cabin was new, clean and had everything you need. Very comfy and quite. It was raining, so can't say anything about the lake. However, water looked very clean.

It was great camping here! The lake is beautiful and crystal clear and there are available canoes and paddle boards. The staff ruined the experience. They were rude and slacking. They came to our site to tell us to be quiet in their underwear and were yelling when the people camping next to us didn't hear a thing. Staff were unprofessional and overall unkind. Maybe consider the fact that your at your workplace instead of a few laughs around a campfire. Also, dont leave the office and store unattended at unspecified times. Overall would recommend if you're going to be very quiet. Beware of the road as it is quite narrow with no guard rail.

Great family campsite. Spacious sites, hook-ups for power and water. Friendly staff. Lots of birds. Beautiful view. Good hikes around the site. Goats, chickens and bunnies. Clean water to swim or boat in. Fun rope swing across the lake. Movie nights for kids. Facilities for showering and laundry.

Great place. Weather you're tenting, RVing, or would like to rent a cabin, this is the place. The one way, gravel road made us feel uneasy as we travel up to the resort, this is why I gave it a 4-star. When you arrive however, it is a great place- there is a lookout you can hike up to that takes about 30 minutes to reach, and a lake you can take your water activities to.

My review is based on lack of customer service from the owners due to a recent cancelation for the May long weekend. Due to checking out the very sketchy narrow road ahead of time we decided to cancel our reservation based on the safety of the road. The website is not honest with the state of this road, it should clearly state that the road is very narrow, one way and offers no way to move out of the way to oncoming vehicles. The owners state that people arrive at check in and leave at check out time, but what happens when that doesn't happen and someone needs to head down the road at an off time... then what happens... who is backing up... wasn't worth the safety of our family for a camping trip. Even though we cancelled with 4 days notice the campsite manager stated that under special circumstances a refund would be permitted and would get back to us. They re booked the sites and were not out of pocket any money due to our cancellation, yet they refused to refund us, nor call me back and never answer their phone when you call. It is unfortunate that it came to this but due to many attempts to discuss our situation with the owner it was ignored. Buyer beware, this road is very sketchy and certainly not advertised correctly by the resort.
