For what it is, it seems fine. Very friendly owner George & John Bates. Small place but right on the water away from noisy traffic. Just watch for deer on the road around here. Deer everywhere. Between 20 or 30 stalls with full hookup and places for tenting as well. We're in a 40 ft. Motorhome. Parking was fine. Leaving when its full might not be.

Beautiful sites right on the water, very quiet place, other than the seals playing in the water!

This is our first visit here and we like it. Only has around 25 stalls for RV's with additonal camping sites. It is very small but clean and quiet. Owers are nice. This place has been owned by the Bates family since the mid 40's with three brothers keeping the place up to date and affordable. I'm guessing the name Bates Rd. Is named after the family. They do not rent boats anymore but do rent kayaks. Plus your right by the ocean.

West coast Winter camping at its finest!! The staff was very nice and helpful, our RV spot was right on the beach and it was stormy, so we enjoyed quite the show from mother nature. We will stay again :)

This rating only applies to the kayak rentals. Service and price were very reasonable, but given the comparison with other kayak rental outlets, the equipment fell short of my expectations. The water was calm, but the single kayaks looked to be better equipped for a pond or small lake - certainly not the ocean. The tandem, however, was decent. Again, service was great!
