Camped for one night and did the surf lessons. The people that run the camp are a little aloof (surfer dudes) and were a bit confusing when we were trying to reserve a site but we got one no problem. Staff is super easy going and accommodating. Sites were typical camping spots with good privacy. The bathrooms and showers were great, you don't need a 5 star bathroom while you're camping! The surf lesson was great, Brandon was incredibly patient and was stoked to see us succeed (the few times that we did). Coming back to the sauna and hot tub was a treat. If I had to make a complaint, it's that the firewood they were selling was almost impossible to get going (and I'm no stranger to fires). Not sure if it was crappy wood or something, would recommend you bring your own wood if you're able. Overall had a great time, I'd recommend thud place to anyone.

We stayed at surf junction for 4 nights and got the package deal, we were very impressed with how reasonable the price was. This is what I call 5 star camping! The campsites are very treed in so it feels like you are in the wilderness but at the same time it has running water, a store that provides coffee, hot tub sauna, showers and a wet suit drying area. The first day we received a group surf lesson that was awesome. On the second day we got private surf lessons, I really recommend this. The staff was very helpful and kind with all of our rental needs. They even provide roof racks for the surf boards! I absolutely loved this place and all of its perks. I will be returning.

Good place to stay on your trip around the Pacific Rim National Park. Ucluelet is about 10 minutes away by car, Tofino is about a 30 minutes drive. Our full-service site was quite big, with a table and fireplace. There is also a lot of space around for children to play. The camping offers surf lessons, has a sauna and a hot tub that is open until 10 pm. Wifi however did not work at the site, only at the office. Obviously bears also like to stay at the campground from time to time, but even though there were warnings, we didn't encounter any.

Friendly, clean. Sites feel secluded. Method of booking online is a little old school but they are quick to reply.

Pros: friendly and helpful staff, hot tub, sauna, location, peaceful and quiet. Cons: camping ground with a lot of rocks, out of two showers in the men's washroom one was out of order and on the other one I couldn't get hot water to work (might be me, but I doubt it). Toilets constantly clogged. Bring your own toilet paper cause the one accessible is super thin. Other toilets need to be checked more regularly.
