This is a nice place to camp right off the Trans-Canada hwy, and right at the beach.

Spent a fun long weekend camping with our family here. The views of the lake are beautiful. There dog beach is even nicer than the regular beach. It's a bit of a walk part all the permanent campers, but worth it. The campground is pretty crowded but worked well for our large group. Not sure I'd stay here on my own. Many seasonal campers have all the best spots and it can tend to look a little trashy. The trains go by constantly and so close you feel the ground shake and all conversation stop until they pass. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Washrooms always seemed dirty but it was a very busy weekend so it was understandable. Showers were nice and hot and the stalls were clean.

Spaces are way too small and cramped. Sites are dirt, not gravel or grass. The place needs some TCL. Instead of having a sign down to the beach saying - use stairs with caution - how about replacing the stairs. Hope you like trains as they go by every 20-40 minutes. Not a place we would stay again or recommend.

Not as bad as other reviews say, the beach is nice with a beautiful view. The sites are very small, over all not bad. Lots of families so the kids had a blast

Clean place, nice beach, warm water, friendly staff, camp sites are small and not very private. If you looking for a wooded forest camp ground this is not the place. It becomes a parking lot most of the time.
