We just moved our RV here, from Mill Bay, and have been living here for about 3 weeks. I'm really happy with it so far. It has a real nice location, just a hop across the bridge into downtown Duncan, yet tucked away by the river, behind a business park, so there isn't a large amount of traffic running by. We were trying to choose between Duncan RV park and Riverside. We looked at both (they are not too far apart), in the springtime, and Riverside was a mud-pit. There wasn't enough gravel, the roads had huge pools of water, may of the trailers were dirty. We came next to Duncan RV park, and it had a nice paved road, plenty of gravel, lots of light. Seems to be a lot of retired folks living here, so not much noise. There were some reviews from the past about drugs. We haven't seen any of that. Bear in mind those reviews were 5 years ago. There is however, a walkway along the river, that joins to a railway track, and we could see signs of garbage, and possibly people temporarily camping by the river. This is not part of the RV park though. The bathrooms were really nice too. Warm, lots of hot water, nice wooded entrance to the showers. Really much better than some of the other RV park bathrooms we've seen.

(A Fokker is a great airplane, and I am getting older.) Thought That would be appropriate. I have been here a few years. Never any problems, except my cat likes to escape. Many people have been here a long time, and can speak for themselves. Owner promotes RV camping. It can be full, and it has been nice here for me. Everybody minds their own business, however, they are a great help if anything arises. We leash our pets, love our sites. The Park management doesn't put up with any drugs or trouble makers. Neighbours are quiet and respectful, and watch out for one another. Amenities are not far, restaurants, Grocers, Parks, it's Duncan, relax, Bring your RV.

We stopped by to dump out RV septic tanks. Indifferent, impolite staff - that we never did see since they we're hollering to us through some bushes from at party they were evidently attending - at 4:00 in the afternoon. Poke you $10 fee through a hole in the front door of the office. This place would give even the Trailer Park Boys pause! If you need to empty RV septic tanks there is a much better facility in Lake Cowichan and it's worth the drive.
