Had a great week in a Base Camp van. Keith was a flexible and accommodating host. Base Camp is the kind of low-key operation that was just right for my family of four. Our van ran smoothly, and he was really efficient with our booking and schedule. I'm looking forward to working with him again during our next trip to the island. Other places we looked at renting were too uptight for our style; Keith's operation is a great option for families: affordable, convenient, reasonable and consistent.

Had a great time hiring one of Keith’s campers to spend a few days touring Vancouver island. The van drove brilliantly and was well equipped. Would highly recommend. Keith dealt with all booking queries promptly and runs a very friendly family based business.

Keith was very helpful in arranging our pick-up and drop-off of the van and explaining the workings of the vehicle. Once we had adjusted to the more upright driving position we found it enjoyable to cruise along as we explored North Vancouver Island. The van is well designed for both cooking and sleeping and we enjoyed several nights in quite remote campsites. This was our first campervan experience and we had a lot of fun. If you like tent-camping but want to try something a bit more luxurious I thoroughly recommend giving it a try.

We had a great week in the westy on Vancouver Island this September. Well equipped, easy to drive, surprisingly decent on fuel, and full of storage, camping was a ton of fun. The owner, Keith, was a great communicator and we really appreciate all the service he provided. Highly recommend this company!
