A definite must see when you're visiting the Island or entertaining guests. Not to mention just going there for a hike by yourself or with friends. These gala never fail to inspire awe regardless of how many times you see them. There are actually 3 falls in the park. Be sure to look for them all. The suspension bridge is fun and is great for fun photo opps.

Nice provincial park. It is a little walk to the falls, but the pathway is good to walk. There is also a suspension bridge of (i think) 50 meters. Made from metal, it is sturdy but some still might have a problem with the height. But from the middle of the bridge, the view of the falls is really nice.

Elk Falls is only 10 minutes out of town and yet feels like it's in the middle of a lush rainforest environment. There's lots of RV parking and the trail is a very easy 10 minute hike to the bridge. Definitely worth stopping for a rest if you're headed up island.

A very nice tourist attraction. It is a short walk from the parking lot to the suspension bridge which has incredible views of the waterfall and canyon. This attraction is great for children, has washrooms and is a great way to spend a sunny day. There are also trails that branch of if you want a longer walk along the river.

Spectacular. The walks are graded and there a short and long walks. Stairs are senior friendly and grated, not slippery. The Elk Falls are magnificent and only 15 minutes from Campbell River on Vancouver Island. There is also a suspension bridge. Thanks to the local Rotary Club for this work.
