Spruce Grove is a property run by Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. We have stayed at the resort several times and at the RV park adjacent to the hotel. We have been very satisfied. Thus, we expected the same level of customer service, amenities and care of the property. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! For starters, unless you are boon-docking or tent camping, I'd not recommend this park. Grounds are embarrassing, RV sites are jammed in to a smaller area with no views while tent and boondock campers have a much better situation. Bathrooms are average, at best, limited full service which is made worse by the only dump station in the park is woefully inadequate. We had to stay inside most of the time due to a huge infestation of mosquitoes and service at the office was if they had time for you. The only plus for the park is the bags of wood offered. Expensive yes but you do get your money's worth. I'd rate the park a 3 for tent camping but if you're talking an RV trip, I would rate the park a 1 star

If you like poorly maintained grounds, millions of mosquitos, poor customer service, over priced sites, deceptive and misleading advertising about what is available at this campground, then you'll love Spruce Grove Resort. Fairmont Hot Springs should be embarrassed to run this park the way they do. I will not be back. 6.30.18 Addendum to orginal review. I have now found that this park, while still very substandard, is much better suited for tent campers. I found many nice tent sites right on the river. I also learned that pictures posted on Google don't reflect what the park condones or allows. For example, you see people playing in the river but on the fence, keep out signs are posted all over the place.

Seems to be a decent place to camp, close to the hot springs. Would stay again.
