Koocanusa Campsite is family run business where they provide an excellent camping experience with a family orientated flair. Lot’s of fun activities for the kids from the excellent sandy beaches to the many playgrounds spotted throughout the park. Annual Canada Day fireworks show that equals some of the best as well as an end of season live band and parking lot dance add to the complete experience. There is a well-stocked store that carries a dozen flavours of ice cream and a marina with boat launch and fueling at the dock. Above in the parking area there is also gas pumps as well as a propane filling station. It’s a fantastic place to spend your summer days and if you’re fortunate enough to find an opening for a site at Koocanusa Campsite you will indeed become a member of the Koocanusa family.

Very nice place, wish there were more powered sites though. Very very clean, nice facilities, great showers there is even hot water late in the evening. The beaches are wonderful. I cannot get over the water!! to badthe main beach is down so many stairs, but then we find the one on the other side and that made a big difference due to the fact that I don't get around well. It would be bigger if maybe that was posted somewhere in the campground, that it was easier access. Very friendly gate lady!!!

Love that it is family run and friendly staff. We have been coming here for decades and the beautiful views and large beach never disappoint. It's a great place for families.
