I'm sad to say our experience was not like that of others. We reserved the cabin for 3 nights. The water did not work at first and then did not smell right. The cabin was not finished and the area was not well kept near by, and is situated right next to the highway and a busy sawmill that makes it next to impossible to even sit outside and have a conversation with family. We did not feel comfortable letting our kids go far as the park (which was not much) was far from the cabin. I wish we were given more notice about this all, as we would never have paid for 3 nights and last after one tough sleep. The staff that was there at the time was friendly; however, our experience with the owner was not the same.

This was an awesome spot to stay. My only complaint is that we didn’t have time to stay longer. So many extras!!! Perfectly chopped and season wood with kindling and matches. Emmaculately clean campsites. Ashtrays for smokers, recycling bins and garbage cans in various locations, friendly, helpful staff and they even loaned us an adapter for power. Not to mention very quiet, except for highway noise (which is every camping spot we found). Thanks for a great experience. Oh yah they even watered the roads so it wouldn’t be too dusty or dry.

Great! John and Mike take good care of you and the property. Sites are clean. Firewood is delivered upon payment and you get a wheelbarrow full. No noisy or crowded times yet but they have an event May longweekend that will be both. We like it here.

I have visited this campground twice and I definitely intend to return. I booked in four days and extended three times. Beautiful treed campground, much like being in a forest with cedar, pine, larch etc. I sat in my chair at the back of my trailer and looked down to the river. Good services (including laundry). Although every site has a fire pit, you can sit at a fire in front of the “cantina”, visit with other campers and watch tv if you like. This campground is very clean. I found the staff to be very friendly and diligent. I really enjoy the Creston area, it is much more relaxed than a typical tourist area.

We are repeat campers. Go out of owr way to stay here. People are great, washrooms are clean, prices are reasonable, quiet and can not say enough good stuff. Very well worth the stop.
