Beautiful Park. One of favorites. Campsites very rustic. Be careful of electric giokyps. Some are only 20 amp. Cant step down from 50 amp panel. Also the 4 wheelers running through the campgrounds were very annoying.

My families favorite place to camp! There are tent camps and trailer camps, trails to hike, mountains to hike, there is a natural water slide nearby, the lake is always beautiful (but also always cold), and it is usually well maintained.

Indian Creek is a beautiful spot in Priest Lake, Idaho. We spent a few days here in October of 2017. It's the perfect get away in the woods! The campground is has tons of trees and lots of fabulous spots to choose from. The most private sites are ones that have no power. Our spot was more open since we wanted full hookups on this trip. There are several nature hiking trails around Priest Lake and most of them are quite easy. The most private sites are ones that have no power. There are flush toilets and hot showers at this campground. They have a small store onsite with food, ice, gift shop and clothing. That was really nice since I left all my long pants at home. Those sweat pants I bought were a life saver! The beach is a good one! We will come back during the summer time so we can swim in the lake. f you need internet, well its not the greatest. The campground wifi had a $10 charge, we paid for it but it didn’t work. We did get a refund for it. Hopefully some improvements will be made on that this year. The town of Coolin about 15 minutes away and the restaurant in the area had the best internet connection if you need it. One day we did drive further north to another campsite called Lion’s Head. This is a first come first served area. Also, if you have a trailer any longer that 25ft, forget it. You won't fit. The spots are tiny! From there we headed to an area by Lion's Head where there are natural rock waterslides. It’s about a 3 mile hike in and you cross a creek. We made it to the creek but didn’t cross it since it was cool and rainy that day. We will try again in the future. So if you are looking for a nice area in North Idaho, we would recommend this location! By the way, you can get cell signal at the beach or with a booster. If it's raining, it will cut out completely.

Priest Lake is magical and the state park is well maintained with a good selection of cabins, rv, and camp spots. Went here in the winter so I can't vouch for the shower facilities as they were closed for the season, but I'm sure they're great. Be sure to bring your own water in the winter. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and dog friendly. Can't wait to go back.
