This is a beautiful lake. Crystal clear. We stayed at the east camp ground. The camp ground itself was OK . Nothing special, just a few camp sites that were on the lake and the camp host and manager had those spots. If you don't mind the camp Gestapo stopping by and inspecting your camp site every 2 hours whether or not your there. Then go for it. But for me and my family we go camping to get away from that stuff. Made me sad that it has come to this. So if you go good luck and make sure all your papers are in order, or the Gestapo will get you.

Have camped here every year for the last 10 years, Hosts are always nice and just ask that you be mindful, the only time I see them 'Policing' anyone is when the people are being ridiculous and disturbing other campers. I love this place and if you don't enjoy the host there are a plethora of free unmanned camp spots along the river. The scenery is well worth the drive and the water is crystal clear and amazing. If you haven't been out here you are definitely missing out on a little slice of what Washington really is.

the most BEAUTIFUL place!!! we have been going every year for 4 years & can't get enough. the camp host was incredibly rude and spoke to our children in a demeaning way when she thought the adults were out of ear shot. we love camping (quietly); she would come around at 10 pm and tell us (ADULTS) to get into our tents because it was quiet time. it's really unfortunate that such an AMAZING location has be tarnished by unwelcoming camp host.

Nice camp sites but worst place to actually camp the rangers are looking for anything to hassle you. For example you must have your ice chests in bear containers while sleeping or not at camp site which is fine but while our family was swimming my son and grand son stayed at camp and my 3 year d grandson had to potty and could not hold it so my son ran him litterally across the street to bathroom gone 5 min at most and then was written a citation for leaving camp site and ice chests out. WIll NEVER FO BACK

Great lake, nice camping sites, but the camp host makes you feel like your policed your hole camping trip takes the fun out of your trip. You can't do anything. Will not return while there are hosts.
