Really beautiful campground. Right on the lake, lovely beach area. Cell service for us was 2 bars. Clean restrooms and showers. Camp host was the greatest!

Review of the day use area-- nice beach, very clean. Roped off swimming area. A picnic shelter with tables, a grill, and running water. The parking lot is a bit of a walk from the beach. There is no bathroom or changing house at the beach, only a port-a-potty. There are bathrooms near the parking lot. This is a nice place to swim if you want to escape the crowds of City Beach. Once in the water, it can be a bit rocky, though. Beautiful views, you can see Dover Bay from the beach. No fee for daily use.

Just say NO to camp site 32 if you have even a moderately sized trailer. When I pulled up in my 24’ trailer I was greeted by the Camp Host that jovially informed me that he had been waiting all day for me as I was the last guest to check in and that I had the most notorious site in the park to park a trailer in. There are two trees on either side of the site entrance and one of them bears the scars of many failed efforts to park their campers in the site. When I pulled up, it became clear that for all the effort it would take to stuff my camper into my spot – it wasn’t worth it. The roadway is very narrow, and the sites are all very tight. I needed to practically jackknife the trailer to get it in, and the front end of my Toyota Sequoia needed to swing around to follow it in, but the guest across the road had his trucks nose too close to the roadway to allow me to do that. His truck was parked in its spot, there is just no wiggle room here. This is a stock photo I found and doesn’t show the trees boardering the entrance. The road parallels the entrance and is very narrow, so you can get an idea of how tight this is. You can also clearly see the other sites and their very close proximity. Overall the campground is VERY TIGHT and very close to all other campers/sites.
