Pros: lots of things for kids to do with two great playgrounds, heated swimming pool, mini golf and an arcade area Cons: for anyone without a bathroom such as a small RV or tent the small outhouses are very old and should be replaced, they're very dim, smell terrible (compared to outhouses in provincial parks) and the fiberglass is getting soft and rotten. Sites not cleaned well, showed up to a picnic table covered in bird poop, would expect the sites to be landscaped better such as rake gravel etc etc. Majority of games in arcade are broken, hard to explain to a little one why he can't play the games, lights are on but out of order sign on most of the games. Bottom line is it's a fun place to camp with kids but for more than double the price of a provincial site I would expect the upkeep to be better than it is.

We had a wonderful Labour Day long weekend. In addition to swimming and mini golf, we enjoyed the $1 a scoop ice cream on Saturday afternoon, the Saturday night dance with a live band, and the Sunday morning pancake breakfast. My 3 year old grandson spent time at both playgrounds. On the down side our next door neighbours seemed to assume that we would enjoy their taste in music and had their outdoor speakers on all day and well into the evening.

Another really great place to camp. You have to go north on the hwy and do u turn by the gas station. Lots of signs to let you know. Campsites are great they have river access and they have a pool. My daughter's have both been there just outside Duncan. Stop at the market in the way through and you are in for a great stay fun on fun at Country Maples.

Stayed for 10 days. 4 sites. Garbage not picked up for 10 days in hot summer = STINK. Despite 2 phone calls and speaking with park ranger with no success. Could have relocated bin to another location would of solved the problem or had it emptied. Pool was nice as was the river. Septic overcapacity. Could not fully dump either black or grey tanks at one time. Staff not willing to listen to guests about any concerns they may have had. Children complained how they were not spoken to in a friendly way. Don't normally post reviews but thought needed to in this case as its a pricey campground and should have been stellar for the price.
