So when I booked the person on the phone was super rude however I still booked 2 campsites at the same time. When I got there to check in, I was greated by a rude old lady that chained smoked and she did all her check-ins in her house so you walk into a wall of smoke so if you asthma you'll have a bad time. She asked me for my name when I told her she snapped at me and rudely clarified last name I told her my last name, once again she snapped and got mad that she had booked 3 other people with the same last name. She should probably figure out a better system. When I told her I needed to pay with debit she said she only takes cash. It doesn't say anywhere on the website, nor did she tell me on the phone I needed cash. Since only half of my group was there I planned on checking into both however she didn't let me. When I found out the other campsite she arranged for my other group to take it was on the other side of the campground so I asked politely that I could have one spot closer (there were 3) to our already set up spot she said they were all being taken up. She lied straight to us and told us that they'd all be taken in that night the entire weekend we were there not one more person took those sites however people did park there. The campsites are small, close together and half of ours was a rocky hill the other half was on an incline where one of our tents literally touched an RV it was so small. It was obviously suited for an RV. The other campsite we were supposed to have would barely be big enough to fit our 6 man tent and it was literally right beside an RV as well, it was in the sun and again on a hill! When we did more walking around we found about 20 more spots that were BEAUTIFUL, and would have been much better for tents, that were more secluded and I would have been happy to pay more for she said it was closed off for forest fires, it makes sense but from all points you can still see the main campground and there's no actual spot to put a campfire. The prices were fair, for 7 people and a dog for 2 nights it was only $78. So IF I ever even try to book with them, which I probably won't, but if I do I will make sure I'm getting a spot from 29-54 as those are the tenting spots that she had closed off, and make sure if you get more than one spot get them close together. If you want to book with them be ready for someone who will be rude to you, try to rip you off and clearly doesn't know how to run a business.

Beautiful lake, wonderful people, very friendly community. Amazing view, excellent swimming as well as a floating park on the water, community firepits and public washrooms And as for this "vicious dog" that is "running around"... The dog is left behind closed doors and if the owner is to come down with the dog, it is kept inside a vehicle that she is driving. If you walk your dog into the owners home, yes the dog will probably hurt your dog. He is very friendly, and is only doing his job protecting the land, his owner and his property. It very clearly states all animals must be on a leash.
