Love this park. Beautiful scenery, camp sites are great!

I came here the day the campsite opened so I was completely alone with the whole beach to myself. This is one of the nicest campsites I've been too, wonderful facilities and amazing lakeside spots.

Beautiful spot, nice big Sandy beach and private sites.

Arrived late in the the Okanogan one night and the campgrounds were all full so we headed east from Vernon, across Arrow Lake on the ferry and went north towards Nakusp. We saw MacDonald Creek campground so we swung in off the hiway, bang right into a traffic jam. The staff was excellent and found us a spot in the overflow. Being dark we didn't realize how lucky we just got the overflow was a huge grassy field along the side of a fir forest (nicer than most camp spots) and a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. The next year we booked a site for 2 weeks and had the best time with some of the grandkids. Most sites are along the beach. Perfect.

Beautiful location. Good facilities. Running water, hot showers, and flush toilets to boot. Perfect for family camping or those with young kids. Great camping spot but does not have the real dirty camping feel. If you like clean/comfy camping this is the perfect spot. If you're looking for the real dirtbag experience, you'll be much too comfortable here.
