Gatehouse where you check in is open until 11PM conveniently. They sell ice, firewood, and propane and accept all forms of payment. Campgrounds are a little smaller than they look in photos but very clean and you can easily fit a sedan and 2 large tents. They have outhouses with hand sanitizer, as well as some proper bathrooms with flushing toilets and taps. There is 1 shower stall per bathroom. The showers are clean and the water is hot. The beach area is a little disappointing as it's geared more towards boats than to swimming, with a small slightly sandy area off to the right hand side and the majority of the beach being a deeper a gravel launching area Rangers are friendly but stick to the rules as they came by in the night when we began burning our paper waste which made too large flames. Drinking is permitted in your campsite but not in public Dont collect firewood as its part of the enviroment. Overall nice site. Will definitely return. Lots of Blue Jays in the trees.

Wonderful camp spot. Wish I had a chance to do some hiking, but it was a very brief stay.

Horrible place to stay. Krista the ranger is verbually abusive and extremely rude to the people staying at the site. I would never recommend this spot to anyone as the rangers are all very rude and made us pay 24$ for our cars to stay and the proceeded to write us a ticket for parking our cars. She claims she called the police on us and followed us around for the remainder of our stay.
