If you’re looking to camp in a tent this is not the spot for you. This place caters strictly to RVs and the five tent sites they have each barely have enough room for your car and tent and are stacked on top of on other. There are no trees or even grass. It’s basically a few gravel parking spots they decided to turn into “campsites” for a few extra bucks. The upside is the location as it’s close to Gyro Park beach and it does have water and electricity. I wouldn’t stay at this spot ever again.

Was here June 17 to July 4 . Had a great spot on the hill overlooking the lake. However we found our selves killing beetles by the thousands that invaded our rv. We are still killing them more than 2 weeks later. It's unfortunate but I won't be returning due to this problem.

Amazing location though the sites are small and tight and a bit dusty, the waterfront has lots of sand and is perfect depth for swimming and boating. Facilities are well maintained and store has candy and ice and goodies.

We have been coming here for 9+ years, until this past summer, our experience had been wonderful. Unfortunately the staff and management we dealt with (summer 2017) were very unprofessional. The facilities (showers/washrooms) aren’t the cleanest, but the campground itself is really beautiful! Most people obey the quiet times so you aren’t awoken by rowdy campers in the night. The little cantina is perfect to have a drink lake side. My children loved the ice cream in the store, very large portions for what you pay. Everything considered we would probably give the campground another chance this year and hope for better interactions with the management and staff.

Horrible Booking and Customer Service. Whoever the woman is on the phone taking deposits is absolutely unprofessional and rude. We booked a spot and within 24hours realized that it wasn't going to be large enough so we went ahead and booked two other sites beside each other and we asked to have the deposit on the single one to be applied to the other sites and they refused. We happened to still camp but they took a double deposit and still rented out the second spot. Just to make double money plus they are dealing with flooding but still have all intention to keep peoples money. Even if they couldn't transfer the money over the woman was just so rude. Hopefully they reevaluate the staff they have answering their phones.
