My sister and I decided to camp for the night after exploring Salt Spring Island and we are so glad we ended up at Mowhinna Creek Campground. The new Managers are incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice little tour of the campground on their golf cart and quickly got us booked for the night. Fire wood is available for purchase and was delivered to our site. The bathrooms more than you could ever want in campground. The showers are also very clean. Would highly recommend this campground. Thank you Brad and Katie for the lovely stay!

We loved this campsite! The hosts were so lovely. Each lot is spacious, the toilets and showers were SO clean and there was a well kept playground for kids. I highly recommend staying here.

I reccommend this place to people looking to go to bed early and looking for a quiet more family oriented experience. It is very clean and well taken care of. We were a group of adults camping for a birthday and found the staff to be hostile and slightly judgemental based on a previous group they had issues with. If you are looking to enjoy a night around a fire laughing and conversing with friends this is not the place as the manager drives into the sites often to monitor guests activities. 10 PM is when you must whisper to avoid being kicked out. The sites were good for a small tent however we were charged an extra $20 per night for a small dog tent pitched on the site.

Great owners! Nice secluded sites. Would recommend.

Great campground! Clean, well serviced, friendly hosts. Spent 4 nights under the stars thinking about how to buy property on Saltspring and make it permanent. Our family of 4 was joined by two other families and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. A quick bike downhill to the Saturday market was more fun than the ride back up but it was still fun. Lots of toys and some playground equipment to keep the kids entertained. The hosts were excited to have the kids there and provided badminton equipment for them to use. They even called us after we left to thank our kids for cleaning up after themselves! If you like a well laid out (each RV site is super easy to back into) campsite with flush toilet outhouses and hot showers, hosts who care about your stay and everyone else's, then book here. If you want a party spot, keep scrolling on to another location and leave this one for us!. We will be back. Btw. The host also offered to get on the working end of my septic hose (bright orange gloves already on) as I pulled up to the sani dump. I could never let someone else do that, but it's the thought that counts!
