Reasonable price, and we managed to get a spot without reservation mid-week in July. Paid $6 more to have a riverside camping spot which was worth it. Theres a nice little beach on the river and a great playground for kids. Near a busy road, so the noise might be a factor for some people. Second night there we didn't sleep well because there was a couple yelling, crying, fighting and honking their car horn in the spot next to us far past midnight. We got wafts of smell from the outhouse by our campsite at times. Happy to see they have coin laundry. Light turns off while you're in the shower, and wasn't thrilled that shower was coin operated, but it was quite clean in all the buildings.

My boyfriend and I went tent camping here in March 2018. It was a very beautiful campground, with lots of trees and a beautiful river running by. There were lots to do there, with a games room(though wasn't up and working at the time) a frisbee golf in the forest, a lovely park for kids if you bring them, a mini beach (Though it was too cold for us to swim at the time) and there were showers (Though locked and had to get help to open) The wood was VERY expensive, the office closed down on our last day and night and we weren't even able to get wood for our last night..Lastly, the high way was right next to the campground and you never seem to not hear the cars which seemed to lower the "camping experience" Overall I give it a 3/5 stars, for it was very beautiful, but the place seemed to be able to give so much promise, but failed to deliver. We did go camping at the end of March so we weren't expecting much, however a little customer service could have easily made up for many of the set backs.

Clean, nice location on river. Some traffic noise from highway. Spaces tight.
