Such an amazing place to camp. Beautiful views of the river and ocean. Sites are quiet and clean, staff is friendly and the coffee is hot!

Beautiful beach and was really excited to spend may long weekend camping peacefully. Had to leave after 1 night because of disrespectful neighbours not respecting quiet hours and setting off fireworks and throwing large quantities of gas on bonfires way past 11pm. Felt unsafe especially with the approaching wildfire season and how the bonfire was right next to the forest. At 6am there was people walking around shooting at birds with pellet guns around where people were camping. Would have been a better experience if quiet hours were actually enforced. If we are paying $20 a night I would expect the rules and regulations posted at the campsite to be enforced by camp hosts and more amenities to be available at the beach campsites. Extremely unfortunate for the beautiful scenery but will not be coming back and will not recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a peaceful experience.

The people running this campsite are nice and punctual. However, we got to our site near the bridge, car parked there and could not set up, one outhouse for about 15 sites, that outhouse likely has never been cleaned with literal fecal matter on the walls (or something that looked like it) and the "New" shower stalls have no shelving for clothes and supplies and were not clean. This was year two and likely not going back.

Our first time to this campground and we were pleasantly surprised.... basic plots some with water and some with electric hook ups.... the beach plots are separated by big logs and the beach is massive playground for the kids.... allowing us to sit back.... enjoy the sun.... and have our coffee.... There is NO cell phone coverage here.... but there is limited 2G wifi within 50m of the main office.... not ideal.... but enough. There are toilet pits around the site..... but trust me.... walk the extra few minutes to go to the new toilet and shower block by the main office.... you can thank me later !! Showers are good..... but brief.... $1 for 3 mins But again.... enough for your needs. Site looks untidy as you approach it.... but once past the main office it's all good...... Kids loved it..... we enjoyed it.... Definitely be back at some point.
