This is a charming old school down to the earth campground I grew up in days of going to KOA and Klondike parks LOL The people here are fantastic one of the reasons why I'm giving it 5 stars they are in the process of building and bringing this camp back to its golden days in the interim you still have a beautiful camp with beautiful people beautiful leg type of place you can leave your car unlocked in your cabin door open we think the world of this place so give it a try

We spent several days in Cabin #17 at Cedar Beach Resort in August 2017 and were beyond disappointed with our stay. This was not a "rustic cabin," but a dilapidated, dirty 70's trailer. The bathroom (which was difficult to enter because it was so tiny the door opens against the toilet) was filthy and smelled of stale urine, had mold in the shower and in the drain, and had clearly not been cleaned in a long, long time. The bedroom carpets wreaked of dog and were very worn and visibly dirty. The trailer overall was dingy- unlike the photos posted online - covered in old faux wood paneling, the kitchen was painted clown colors (yellow, red, blue), there are only a few windows and it's a duplex trailer with a shared wall, so it was very dark inside. If we had been able to find an alternative place to stay on St. Mary's Lake, we would have left in a heartbeat. I give it 2 stars rather than 1, because the overall "resort" (not the particular trailer) is located right on beautiful St. Mary's Lake, has free communal boats, a pool, and hot tub (although these, too, are all way past their prime), and most surprising of all, the bed was quite comfortable. However, at $200+ US per night, we were outraged by the condition of the "cabin." It appears that each cabin is individually owned - so buyer be ware you might get one of the 5 star cabins or one of the 2 star cabins, but the varied quality isn't reflected in the prices or in the online descriptions!

Really nice hosts. All the cabins are unique.
