Breath taking lush forests and wild critters. Lake was huge. Good for kayak.

Primitive campground. Right on the lake. Easy walk to Ozette Triangle trail.

Nice quiet campground with a good lake for swimming.

Beautiful and scenic. The lake is picturesque and the trail is wondering to experience. The campground has some nice sites and some not-so-nice ones with dilapidated fire pits. You do have to pack your trash out, since there is no garbage disposal on the campground. One can do lots of activities both on the lake and on land. There is lush growth on either side of the land-to-sea trail. Cape Alava is neat to see for nature lovers. Huckleberries and blueberries grow abundantly along the trail (depending if they're in season). Salal berries also grow abundantly, but they vary from sweet to insipid. It can be rather hot and humid, so hiking it can be a challenge for some. I have also trekked it when it's cold at times. I always enjoy coming back here.

Great campground that's very close to the trailhead.
