Been by here many times but it seemed too full so we never stopped. Was pleasantly surprised to stay here. Sites are well laid out and quiet and clean.

Clean bathroom, quick meat snacks and a Red Bull. Neat country style, themed store, complete with six shooters, knives and your standard tourist accessories. Fort Steele is an amazing pioneer heritage town that is much more than your standard couple turn of the century gold rush museum pieces. If you can ride an actual steam locamotive around the entire establishment that really says something. For a gas station, the camp ground/gas station/theme store plays it's part.

We come here every year. The campground is a little crowded (sites are close very together and are quite small) and it can get very busy, but it has full hookups, a pool and a very unique store. There's also a farm right next to the campground where you can feed horses, donkeys and emus, in addition to the historic town and cemetery nearby. It's no Las Vegas casino resort, but is a good place to stop and stay the night during a long trip or to escape the city.

I visit the store as I drive by. Love the place. Nice selection of odds and sods as well as a finely stocked convenience store. I bought my first gold pan there a few years ago. Staff is quite friendly and pleasant. I reccomend a stop if your near by.

Nice property. Friendly staff. Good value. Nice camp store. I tent camped and the showers were nice and the facilities were in great condition. They had a nice looking outdoor pool, however, I didn't get in as it was a little chilly and I had been camping and bicycling in the rain for a couple days.
