The owner manipulates the availability and lies about the cottage capacity in order to charge you more and rip you off. We just booked with Cusheon Lake Resort and are very happy with their price, location, and management.

I stayed at the resort every summer for years when my children were young. Just got back from a family union held there. Everyone (21 people) enjoyed the resort immensely. It is as cozy, pretty and fun as I remembered. We cooked and ate our meals outdoors, roasted hot-dogs and marshmallows, fished, canoed, and the children loved swimming in the lake. All the fun elements of camping plus the basic comforts of home.

Tranquil lakeside experience. Lovely beach and dock. We tried a paddleboard, a kayak, and a rowboat. Cooking outside makes it seem more adventurous.

Fun little cabanas, owners were easygoing and reasonable! Bring your own bedding (sleeping bags) just in case - 2 of the 4 beds in our Cabana had bedding.
