I have come camping here for over 50 years. Long before the campgrounds got cut in half by a massive slide 50 ish years ago. The North side built on an abandoned orchard site offers panoramic views as the road winds and meanders down the terraced terrain to the shore. Most sites are large and open and offer lake views. The South side, once connected to the north by a one kilometer road since washed out in 2018 by another clay slide offers plenty of lakeside sites, albeit small and close together but a small price to pay for the beauty on the lakeside. The upper nature trail connecting both camps was still open as of this writing but has a small dangerously close drop near the washout. Be careful. One of the world's best government camping areas IMHO.

Camped here as a kid 25+ years ago, and on into my early 20's, and always loved it. Such a great place to camp, especially for kids as the sites are close together so you'll meet a lot of new people. And you're right on the lake, which is always awesome in the summer. Absolutely love it, if you've never been, you need to get here ASAP. Just remember to reserve a site long in advance as it does fill up with a lot of "Glampers". Bring a tent and camp the way you're supposed to! Leave the RV and the luxuries behind for actual fun!

This is a beautiful campground. Lots of big beautiful trees. Very well maintained. Lots of separation between sites so each campsite has good privacy from their neighbours. Great fire pit and picnic tables at each site. Clean washrooms and showers. No power or water on site. I suggest you bring your own water as the last 2 years we have been here there is a boil water order. Great activities are close by if you want to spend time in the area. Lots of great wineries in the area to explore. Kettle Valley Bike Trail head is a short drive away. Many orchards fruit and vegetable stands selling fresh local produce. Beautiful lake with beach access at the campground for campers only so it's not over crowded. Water is crystal clear. Awesome for swimming. Nice walking trail connects the North and South campgrounds. Beautiful views across the water of the Mountain Range. Great water access for paddleboarding and other water sports.

This park is located on Hwy 97 and is easy to find. There are two campgrounds at this We camped at the North campground and hiked along a very nice lakeside trail to the South Campground. It is a rather long walk, but the trail is at lake level and is well maintained. North Campground is on a terraced hillside with large level sites spaced well apart to provide privacy. Clean washrooms with showers are available in both campgrounds. The South campground has mostly small sites with little or no privacy but some great views. Boat launch, playground, and amphitheater are at the South campground. The showers are free and there is parking available at the shower houses. Drinking water taps are available at both campgrounds. Good shade in both campgrounds.

Campground is right on the lake, easy access for sitting, swimming, or paddling. Great bathrooms with glorious showers. There are several water spigots around but there's a boil alert if you want to drink it.
