Quiet and natural but packed - arrive early if you want to be sure of getting a spot.

Great place, clean washrooms that flush. Campsites are nice. Everywhere we looked was full other then here since it's a first come first serve with no reservations. You drive in and pick your own site. Only issue I had was 30$ a night for most sites unless u don't have a fire pit. And for us we couldn't use the pit since there was a fire ban so prices should drop if there is a ban

Great campsite, flush toilets, bear boxes (bit of a walk), drinking water, flush toilets, cook shelters. Was packed when I went, didn't get a spot and camped next to the shelter with another stranded cyclist - Banff needs more sites, especially walk-ins for cyclists and hikers!

The location of this place is great, its right in the middle of banff and lake louise. There is a nice little stream that flows through the campsite and is beside most lots. It is a self register campsite which is nice so you dont have to wait in line forever, and they give you a decent amount of room, although the ground is a bit hard if your tenting. The bathrooms are clean for the most part, (they dont have showers though)and there are lots of taps spread around the site, so you dont have to walk far for clean water. There are also more accomidations.

This is a little camping gem for people that want front country camping away from the busyness (and convenience) of the main Tunnel Mountain, Two Jack Lake and Lake Louise campgrounds. No reservations, though, so it's also hit and miss in the peak season. The sites are unserviced and there are no showers.
