Great hike. But make sure you bring a map or take a picture of the map at the trailhead

I didn't get to hike the entire way due to snow, but it's gorgeous out there. Also, if you go when there's snow... Keep an eye out for wolf foot prints. Tons and tons of signs of wolves, even kill/drag marks.

This is an incredible hiking area with beautiful scenery, a wild feel and great views. Must not be missed! And check out the brewery on Flathead lake on your way out, the food is phenomenal.

It's a pretty nice trailhead. It has the map for the trails posted in the parking area with any current and relevant information. The parking area probably gets full fast (20 cars or so, max). Also the road up to it is very narrow, so be cautious of people disregarding others and barreling down the road.
