Excellently set up campground, spacious sites with areas between. Paved roads and well groomed trails. Only drawback was how far the camp area is from the beach. Depending on where your site is, it's a 10-15min walk to the sand. Showers are clean and have warm water, lots of flush toilets available throughout the park. Park operators are friendly and helpful. There's a kids bike/BMX park with hills and jumps, and couple of nice interpretive hikes that are well suited for kids and families. Make sure to reserve early through the Discover Camping website.

Wasa lake is probably one of best and well maintained campgrounds! We have seen plenty of kids with their bikes and there is a bike trail as well! Our campsite did not have enough shade and it was HOT afternoon. Washrooms are pretty clean and they have a family washroom as well in the shower house! Campground is just a walk away from the lake. There is no shade in the beach area and there is a Swimmer’s Itch warning as well. So, please make sure you know what swimmer’s itch is and go prepared in the water! Overall it was a great experience and will come back again for sure!

This serene lake with an 8700 step trail going around lake but not the water and through a mix of nature trail and cabin access roads makes this a good trail for family outing. Great for bicycle, makes a good walk for adult not so much for younger family members

In my opinion, this is one of most beautiful lakes in BC - no! in Canada!! There are mtns all around, sandy beaches - some shallow & one with a playground, 2 campgrounds, & a full length approx 2km walk - or bike ride, all around the lake.

Well kept areas. Nice sandy beaches. Beautiful.
