My experience at camp easton was a total disappointment. This was my fourth summer camp I've been too, and compared to my prior experiences, was very underwhelming. Camp Parsons and Piggott in Washington, and camp Merriweather in Oregon, are far superior. The staff was unenthusiastic, the food was mediocre at best, and most activities and merit badge classes were not organized in the slightest. However, the aquatics program does save this camp from being a disaster, as the lake is warm and refreshing, and the "water toys" are very enjoyable. The bathrooms and showers were clean for a boyscout camp, so taking a shower every day is manageable. But overall, if you're looking for a summer camp in the PNW, camps like Parsons would be your best option. A summary of my stay at Easton in one word would be "unprofessional."

Amazing staff and programs. Waterfront is phenomenal.

Camp Easton is a BSA camp that while offering courses in most normal Badges one would expect, the focus is on Aquatics. As with other camps, their are Various "KYBOs" (a kind of out housewith awash station)around the camp but the brick and mortar facilities are much nicer. There is potable water at each site as well as deck based canvas tents- during our week there, we had several torrential downpours and none of them leaked. It was a great experience, all around.
