Older type park but the location is owesome. The river is only 20 meters from the sites. The main bathrooms and shower are outdated but very spacious, clean and maintained well. The owners are very pleasant. They care for people more then the almighty $. Invited often dinner and or drinks. We keep going back each year.

Pretty awesome that we can drive from Edmonton, camp for a week with power and water hookups, have local friends come join us overnight - all for less than we'd pay for single site power only for a week in Alberta. Awesome site. Small and intimate. Quiet. Right on the river for easy access to play or float. In town with an easy walk for needs. Helpful owners on site all the time for any questions and help. We will be back, and our friends who are visiting us here will likely return as well. Absolutely 5/5 stars **************UPDATE 2022*************** A change in ownership and sadly we are unable to return. The new owners let us know that they are only accepting monthly bookings for a minimum of 3-months. This saddened us greatly, as we would have been willing to pay for a full month, but only been there for our usual 10-14 days however with a 3-month minimum that just isn't justifiable. We and all our friends who joined us will miss the opportunity to support the lovely town of Princeton. I have adjusted the stars to reflect this change 3/5 stars.

Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Stayed in site #3. Pros – - Level site on grass - Friendly, quiet, - Inexpensive Cons – - When booking was told we would have a site on the river – we were behind the restroom – no view of the river. We booked 9 months in advance of stay.

Nice little spot and a very nice woman that let us pitch a couple tents when it was already late. The weather wasn't great so it was a cold night but saw a bunch of wildlife including a small deer walking through the campsite in the middle of the night. Lol and a cute little marmot.

I returned from the bathroom to find the manager taking a hammer to my tent. I was pitched in the location that had been discussed when I arrived and I had paid the fee many hours beforehand. He wanted to let an RV go there instead (presumably because they pay a lot more money). I was offered a refund but seeing as I'm traveling by bicycle, I had nowhere else to go. In his defence he said "I looked in the woman's bathroom but you weren't there"! I am a man, why would you look in the woman's bathroom?! I would have been less upset if he had asked me before trying to drag my tent full of all my things out of the way of the RV. The RV could have also just parked further over away from my tent. I would have given a good review if it hadn't been for the shocking treatment that I received. The price is not bad and the location by the riverside is excellent.
