This place is a gem! We were there for the weekend, had an amazing site for our tent, our site was spacious and private. The views are amazing and the amenities are well kept. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We love this campground! Cant say enough about how lovely and safe Rick and his team keep this excellent place.. This is a favorite spot for us to come back to year after year... The bathrooms are well attended to and the kids love the playground We can't miss saying something about the views...they are different from each spot and amazing... From so many great spots the views are breathtaking!! Rick and crew do such a great job and are so friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended and I know we will be back.... many many times... 😁

DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE DRIVE DOWN. What a great find. Virtually welcomed with open arms. Sat for hours watching the humming birds. I would suggest to take earplugs for the night, you'll know what I mean if you stay there.

We arrived at this stunning campground quite by accident as we blew a tire on the road going toward Golden. We were astounded at the kindness of campground staff, other campers and the owner in helping us assess the flat tire situation, and letting us park in their visitor parking while we waited for the tow truck. We ended up staying 2 nights to enjoy the lake and kayaking up the stunning gorge to watch fish jumping in the waterfalls. Really can't beat a true Canadian experience like that. The amenities are clean and many sites are spacious with a stunning view of the emerald lake. Yes, we did hear the trains, but honestly it's an experience like no other hearing the whistles sound hauntingly in the night and watching them emerge like magic from the forest. Quite romantic really. We got used to it and our toddler slept through all the trains overnight, but bring earplugs if you're easily woken. And we have a 3 year old so he absolutely loved them. Thank you Rick, Sophie, Jake and everyone who made our unexpected stay special.
