The lady was very rude, when we called to reserve a spot she asked how many people and we said 4 adults a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a newborn and she cut us off and said “um you do realize this is a quiet campground”. Um isn’t it a “family” camp ground!?? Worst part we are even locals just looking for a couple nights of camping. Went there last year and she was at our campsite every hour telling us to turn the music down when it was so far down we couldn’t even hear it anymore and 10 came around she made us put our camp fire out where there was 4 of us sitting around it cooking hot dogs whispering....

Could easily make this our home away from home! The owners went above and beyond to make our family comfortable!

Very nice campground near the river. Pool is nice to have. Very friendly staff, always what to help and inform you about he best places of Canada. Showers and toilets were clean. Stayed there for 2 x 1 nights, it was a pleasure.

The facility was good. The owners were not. We booked a family reunion and had a schedule of events that we had reserved the pool for. Had the pool booked for 10:30, the pool was closed till 11:30 for cleaning and then they wouldn't let us go in after because of all the other guests in the pool. They said we were exceeding the occupancy limit of the pool but there was no sign to show how many people were allowed in the pool. There was only a few people that were going in with our party but apparently that was disruptive. The owners seemed very disorganized and made things harder and more confusing than they needed to be. They seemed way too concerned with our campsites and what was plugged into the electrical outlets even though we paid for an electrical campsite. They seemed more concerned with minor details instead of bigger items like making sure the garbage was kept up with and not piling or that the bathrooms were fully stocked. They were very strict on the kids being back in their campsite by 9. They had a projector screen by the toddler play area that I tried to put a movie on for the kids to quiet them down and she kicked us all out and said that a movie doesn't necessarily quiet kids down, but still ramps them up. Just because kids are back in their campsite doesn't mean they're going to settle down either. I understand wanting kids to be quiet for the other guests, but she didn't even give us a chance. If the kids weren't being quiet, she could have come over later and said it's not working. You pay per tent/trailer, not per campsite.

This is a nice beautifully treed park. It's clean, had grassy sites with lots of room between units. Our site was not full service. The hostess was worried about her 15 AMP breaker and threatened to charge $40 if the breaker needed to be replaced. We played bocci in a large grassy area and waded in the river. There is nice pool and a playground for kids.
