The only reason I am giving more than a 1 star is because they were kind enough to meet us when we arrived late from the ferries. Aside from that, this park is run down, no updates or maintenance since the 60s. Only 15amp service, with a few 30amp connections available but were explicitly told to not use AC (in July). Aside from the poor maintenance of this facility, the owners/operators are absolutely rude when it comes to space. Packing people in like sardines, so its no longer enjoyable camping when you can sneeze on your neighbors RV while sitting under your own awning. I offered to pay for the site next to me, but was rudely told to vacate the adjacent site, so we decided to leave the next day. I voiced my concerns to the lady, and notified them of our departure in the morning rather than giving them our business for the remaining 4 nights. Her reply was 'good! Someone is waiting for your site anyway.' Will not stay here again, such a prime piece of property, ran by rude people who do not maintain it. Shameful.

The kids slide in the playground is old and giving off fiberglass splinters. The 2x6 stairway and deck on the playground arnt nailed down right either. They should get a life and at least make it nice and safe for children. ..

We visited family who was staying for a few nights. It was very clean and nice to be so close to the ocean.

Nice property. Not meeting it's potential though. Perhaps new ownership could revitalize it.
