Absolutely beautiful State Park. The employees truly are great, helpful. The management is a good group. All around, make sure this is a stop on your summer list. From the fishinh, swimming, canoe/kayak, yo the hiking trails. There is so much to do and see. Turtles and beavers, various bird species. Things for all ages to do!!!

Metigoshe is a great lake and the state park is beautiful. They were VERY strict about the leash rule even with my dog laying right next to me at our bonfire. There was also a light over our campsite that they could not turn off that was very annoying.

We went to Lake Metigoshe on a family trip (2 adults, 3 kids 4-11). The hiking trails were great. The canoeing and kayaking were awesome too with accessible trails and ports. The staff was helpful with directions and questions. We stayed in a cabin and everything was great!
