I had a really bad experience at these programs. During a lunch period I posted ‘bored’ and one of the higher ups running mini u came up to me and basically harrased me, asking if I was depressed etc. I was perfectly fine, she was overreacting and making me feel bad. I have a good sized social media following so maybe she was trying to make mini u look good, but just made it look worse because I complained online after. All the leaders are super unqualified to be leaders. None of them even know how to play any of the games, or any of their classroom subjects. The swimming program is extremely stupid because they force you to go swimming. Some people have body insecurity problems and forcing them to be in a bathing suit could be an issue for those people. Maybe if the staff could actually care about the kids mini u would be a better place. I’ve gone to mini u for the past 5 years, I never enjoyed it once. It’s horrible.

Courses we "managed" to get into were very good last summer (4-5), BUT MOST UNFRIENDLY website to register on (rate at 1 or at most 2 for colour)! so left at 1 star because--Had trouble last year. Changed this year, set it all up, and nope--Not having any success, again, missing out on THEE course we wanted, again, because of it :-( feeling steamed and frustrated for having to "find" the hoops to jump through and no easy way to get help
