My consumers always have an amazing time at camp courageous! I've not seen it personally but they always come back with a smile on their face, lots of crafts, and even more stories to tell. I think this last trip may have given one of my consumers a virus of some kind. He was feeling ill all week, then 2 other people he lives with were vomiting and ill. I even caught it myself a few days later. Soon after this I learned that they shut down the whole camp after my consumer returned due to illness. Of course I can't prove that it's all related but it sure seems fishy. Other than that, an incredible place giving lasting memories to folks with disabilities.

My handicapped son has been going to Camp Courageous for many years. He loves it and so do I. Well worth the money, and some special needs people ( kids and adults) have medical wavers that pays for it. It's a camp for the people who have mental and/ or physical handicaps. It's the best camp ever. There are week long camps and respite weekends and other stuff too. My son loves the Zipper Line.

Love going to Camp Courageous. There is something fir everyone. It is a great place to relax and have fun with friends and family. We especially like Saturday morning swim time. Also, their Winter garage sale is full of exceptional bargains and huge variety of items, hour to hour, day to day and week to week.
