The old minot KOA had fantastic tenting sites with lots of privacy, it’s too bad it’s gone. The new one is hard to review because it is new. The shower facilities are brand new and fantastic and our site actually had some grass to put a tent on. Unfortunately, being new there aren’t many trees for shade or privacy. The sites beside us had long term/permanent trailers in them with lots of garbage on their sites. One was connected to our site’s water and two of the three power plugs. The playground was fun for my kids but there were many loose and missing bolts so I’m not sure how long it’ll last or how safe it’ll be. One of the big upsides is the campground is right on the edge of town so it’s easy to run for supplies or a bite to eat. Hopefully it’ll improve as it matures.

It was a nice campground and was brand new. The campground was fairly empty. Finding was not a hassle but be aware that it also shares space with an RV dealer so it is somewhat hidden. Pulling in was somewhat confusing because of the odd numbering. I forgot to take a picture to show you but with how empty the campground is it is doubtful that there will be a problem amyway. They had really nice showers which was a relief after a long road trip with intermittent showers. Overall it was a great campground and only lost a star because of the trouble pulling in.

Only 1 star because of fireworks going off at 2am! But very nice people! 5 star there and grounds. 7/1/1018 Staying here another night 7/18/2018. But why!! Fireworks going off again called the police department and they can let fireworks off year round. Never coming back to North Dakota ! So in the early morning train!!!! And we were put by hwy 52 so loud traffic and jake brake trucks cus of the stop light. We got up to use the bathroom at 6am. Men and women were LOCKED! had to use the bathroom across the road at a gas station ya im pissed off!

No pool or privacy between sites, lots of highway noise. Wifi slow.
