Beautiful spot with campsites facing the beach. This is a "primitive " camping campground with dry toilets and water you must pump and boil for 2 min. Only downside was how terribly buggy it was. Otherwise, the sites are spacious with good privacy between neighbors. Its also quieter than the South Kouch campground.

I can’t sing the praises of this campground enough, especially the price and the incredible views. Kouchibouquac National Park in general has a large mixture of well serviced campgrounds, basic tenting campgrounds, and “primitive” campgrounds where you have to either hike, cycle, or canoe in. The full-service campgrounds fees range from $27 to $35 per night, plus the park entrance fee. This campground, Côte-à-Fabien is a bit further away from the entrance, but well worth the trip. I think it is the most beautiful section of the park. Stunning cycling trails and the campsites are literally right on the water. I have included photos in this review. The fees for Côte-à-Fabien are only $15.80 per night. Plus, the best part for me was the discovery of how close the campsites are to the water, and they have their own privates beach (for the ones on the water side). It’s not like some other campgrounds where you are far above or away from the water, you can walk right to the beach from your campsite within ten steps. The whole campground has full services, laundry, a canteen, and one of the most beautiful beaches around. There are always activities here for everyone all summer long, and the park does such a good job of promoting them. We always love every minute of it. This year we had to come back twice, and we would come more if we didn’t live so far away.
