Our child won a scholarship there through an essay contest through Franz Acre Hall in Salem NH. It could not have come at a better time he was having a rough time being a teen. It was a 2 week stay at Camp Quinebarge. It was the best thing that ever happened to him. After 3 days of being there, he was asking to stay for another 2 weeks. After being there for 2 weeks, we went for a visit and he ask for another 2 weeks. By the end of our visit , thanks to our friends and family, he was booked to stay for the whole 8 week session, now in training to be a CIT and was asked come back next season to be a camp counselor. He has not only made a ton of new friends but might have found his calling in life as a career. He's having the time of his life. The Camp Director, Nick Hercules and the amazing staff, the food, the people, everything about this camp is just AWESOME AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE I KNOW..

We really appreciate the thoughtful attention and care our son has received. He loved his experience there last year and returned a better person. Thank you and he can't wait for this summer!

First impressions are amazing. This is our first time sending our daughter off to an overnight camp and didn’t know where to start looking or what to expect. Back in January, we starting simply searching for camps online and came across Camp Quinebarge. The website was simple to move around, well done and just had the family feel to it. I spoke to Erik, Camp Director, during an online chat while just answering simple questions. After talking to him for a bit, he gave me a call and we ended talking for over an hour. After the conversation, I knew this was the camp for my daughter. Eric made me feel like this was the right choice, went over the importance of how the camp will help her grow through so many activities and different experiences. Most importantly, I knew my daughter was going to be safe and part of a great family. We are not able to look at the camp due to snow but still signed her up because of Eric. In May, Eric reached out to us and invited us up to see the camp before anyone else this season. Once we arrived, he was all about my daughter in making sure she made the right decision, which was great because it was about her. He drove us around the camp that seemed to never end. The camp is huge and there is so much to do. When we it was time to leave, my daughter didn’t want too. If this experience is anything like how actual camp will be this summer, we can’t wait. The process was simple, talking to Eric for hours was reassuring and comforting that we are sending her to a great camp. Just want to simply say thank you Eric and can’t wait for this summer.

In summer 2018, I flew all the way from Madrid to America to work as a camp counselor. I was a very nervous at first but they made me feel at home when I arrived and I learned a lot of things during my time staff training before campers arrived. Things became even more amazing when the children arrived, Camp Q is the nicest place you could find to send your kids. Everyone is welcoming and its a place where friendships are made and cherished, Children choose their activities and it's amazing to see them try things and become better at things like boating, horse riding and much more.

My first year at camp was in 2002, and for many years after I considered it my home away from home. Many of my fondest memories from my childhood are of the summers I spent at "Camp Q". I made friends, learned a lot, and eventually went on to become a counselor and help create wonderful memories for the next generation of campers. It's been nearly five years since my last summer, and to this day I have my "quine-beads" hanging by my desk and sometimes I still get the Quinebarge theme song stuck in my head.
