We are seasonal campers/visitors to the lovely Sunbury-Oromocto campground, and wouldn't change a thing! The managers/operators are helpful/friendly/generous people. You won't regret your decision to camp here-overnight or seasonal! Situated on French Lake, the view truly is breathtaking!

I arrived there at 6:30 PM Saturday alone hoping to find somewhere I could enjoy my first angling. A little girl about 10 years old was there at the registration. I inquired whether I could angle there and she told me I have to pay $6 admission fee. I asked her if I could pay less as there was only three hours left before sunset. She tried to call her grandfather but couldn't reach him, then she made her decision to give me admission with $3. After staying there one hour with no luck, her grandmother showed up and rudely yelled to me and drove me out, claiming I had told the girl I would stay only one hour and accused me of taking advantage of the little girl. She even roared "You are cheap" to me just because I had tried to negotiate the admission fee.

Very good price. Besides a lake however the site we got had no view of it. Most of the sites with views are owned/taken by seasonal campers. They have water and 30amp available. Reason this gets a 3 is they advertised as full service but they don't have sewer to the sites (dumping station only). As well, if you are a traveler, it's a bit of a drive off of the main highway to get there. Other than that it's good. The staff was polite and welcoming at the office which is always nice.

Low rates but not a lot to do. Very small, no trails or walking areas.

Absolutely incredible. Very quite, small and peaceful campground. Definitely will be going back.
